Specialist doctor in Nephrology

The medical department at Førde Central Hospital hires 15 senior doctor positions, and there are ca. 24 doctors in training. The department has two posts with 26 and 15 beds, a dialysis unit, an outpatient clinic and its own beds in the interdisciplinary intensive care/monitoring unit. The emergency department also belongs to the medical department. The department is currently approved as an educational institution for kidney, heart, lung and gastrointestinal diseases and has an active learning environment in all disciplines. Emergency and reception medicine is being developed as a specialty. Helse Førde is gradually establishing New Førde Hospital. The building is planned to be completed in 2024. At the medical doctor’s service, Førde central hospital, there is a permanent position available as senior physician within nephrology.Professional and personal development is facilitated.
