The women’s clinic is located at Höglandsjukhuset Eksjö, which is located in the eastern part of Jönköping county, sixty kilometers east of Jönköping city. We have a reception, delivery, obstetrics and gynaecology department. The women’s clinic includes women’s health care, which has receptions in Aneby, Eksjö, Nässjö, Sävsjö, Tranås and Vetlanda.

We offer good, safe and accessible care with high medical competence, both in preventive women’s health care and in pregnancy, childbirth, gynaecological diseases and the reproductive health of young people. The women’s clinic at Höglandssjukhuset Eksjö has emergency operations with deliveries around the clock. Every year we welcome around 1250 children into the world.

Competences and skills – We give you the opportunity to work independently within the subject areas, while at the same time you get to develop work areas yourself and participate in process work. As a specialist doctor in obstetrics and gynaecology at the women’s clinic, you get to work with varying tasks! We work a lot in teams and attach great importance to improvement work. In the role of specialist doctor, you collaborate with  other clinics in the region and the women’s clinic in Linköping. On-call work is included.

Personal qualities – You enjoy working in a team. You are calm and stable with the ability to make correct balances and priorities even in stressful or pressing situations. As one working day is never the same, we see that you are comfortable in rapidly changing circumstances and have the ability to plan and structure your work while taking into account the best interests of the business

• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the field.
• Medical degree and specialist diploma obtained within the European Union
• European Union citizenship or long-term residency permit
• Good standing and clear criminal records
• Good teamwork, reliability, responsibility, flexibility
• We do not require Swedish –  free of charge language course will be provided after accepting the job!
