Our hospital is an emergency hospital that offers care in 30 or so medical, surgical and psychiatric specialisations. The hospital has sites in 4 towns with 700 beds and around 5,000 employees. The catchment area comprises the 15 municipal areas in the region. The hospital also carries on research, development work and education.

We  offer a stable position in an excellent psychiatric clinic and possibilities of close cooperation with other clinics including an emergency department, outpatient care and inpatient care. All types of psychiatric conditions are handled on the unit and the activities are carried out close to patients and local communities e.g. affective syndromes, psychosis, severe addictions, personality disorders and neuropsychiatric disorders. The opportunities are good to contribute to the development and structure of the hospital and you are offered continuous competence development. The psychiatric clinic is a recognized well-functioning clinic with a great focus on treatment, quality and knowledge. It has an interesting structure with its units spread all across the area, which enables to provide good mental health care close to the patient and a possibility of taking into account the interests and wishes of our employees when planning their everyday routines.

• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the field.
• Medical degree and specialist diploma obtained within the European Union
