Telemark HF Hospital (STHF) is responsible for hospital and specialist health services for approximately 170,000 inhabitants in Telemark, from the coastal town of Kragerø in the South to Rjukan by Gaustatoppen mountain in the North. The hospital’s patient treatment is organized in seven clinics, and has both somatic and psychiatric activities in several places in Telemark. The hospital has about 3,000 employees.
The Department of Radiology consists of five sections, radiologists, radiographers and nuclear medicine, support services, breast diagnostics and radiology Notodden.
Department has altogether 120 full time employees (including nuclear medicine and BDS -bone density scanner specialists, radiographers, auxiliary nurses and secretaries)- ca. 20 specialised doctors and 9 resident doctors.
Tasks include:
– Interpretation and description of MRI, UL, CT and conventional X-ray
– Biopsy and intervention
– meetings and collaboration with other clinical disciplines
– Training and supervision of resident doctors
- Medical and specialist title recognized in the EU
- European Union citizenship
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the field.
- Good standing and clear criminal records
- Good teamwork, reliability, responsibility, flexibility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and colleagues
- We do not require Norwegian – free of charge language course will be provided after accepting the job!
